Physician-led ketamine-assisted therapy, one-on-one with Dr. Almeida.

At Emergence Medicine, ketamine-assisted therapy is offered as a structured, physician-guided process that includes preparation, medical care, and integration.

All care is provided directly 1:1 with Dr. Almeida, allowing the work to unfold with continuity, depth, and personal attention.

This is not a high-volume infusion model. Each step is designed to support safety, clarity, and meaningful therapeutic integration.

Consultation & Treatment Planning

Initial Consultation

$450

A 60-minute, one-on-one consultation with Dr. Almeida.

Ketamine-assisted therapy is not a single intervention, but part of a broader process that unfolds over time. This initial meeting is where that process begins.

During this visit, we take the time to understand your medical history, your current experience, and what is bringing you here now. This includes a comprehensive medical evaluation and a thoughtful review of your mental and emotional health, along with a discussion of potential risks and benefits.

Equally important, we explore your goals—whether those are relief from suffering, a shift in perspective, or a deeper sense of clarity and connection—and determine whether ketamine-assisted therapy is appropriate and safe for you.

If we decide to move forward, we will begin to shape a treatment plan aligned with your needs and intentions. The clarity that emerges in this conversation often becomes the foundation for the work that follows.

This is not simply a screening — it is the beginning of a thoughtful, collaborative, physician-guided process.

For many patients, this initial consultation becomes the first step in a larger course of care. When we decide to move forward together, half of the cost of this visit is applied toward your treatment plan.

A carefully supported first ketamine experience, conducted directly with Dr. Almeida.

  • One 60-minute preparatory session
  • One Ketamine IM or IV session (physician-administered and monitored)
  • One 60-minute physician-guided integration session

The preparatory session helps establish a clear framework going into the experience. Following the session, physician-guided integration provides space to reflect on what emerged and begin translating insights into meaningful changes in daily life.

For some individuals, a single session may be sufficient. For others, additional sessions may be recommended depending on response and goals.

Care is tailored to the individual

People come to this work for different reasons. Some are navigating depression, anxiety, or burnout. Others are seeking greater clarity, perspective, or access to creativity, intuition, and parts of themselves that feel less accessible.

Treatment is not protocol-driven. Recommendations are made collaboratively, based on your goals, your response, and what feels most aligned.

Insurance

Emergence Medicine is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly.

In some cases, documentation may be available for services that patients may choose to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Important Considerations

Ketamine use in this setting is considered off-label. While there is a growing body of clinical research supporting its use in certain conditions, it is not FDA-approved for most psychiatric indications.

All treatment decisions are made based on a careful evaluation of potential risks and benefits.
